Rheumatology Reports is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality papers about any rheumatological condition, musculoskeletal medicine and surgery. The journal welcomes papers on clinical, translational or basic research (in humans and in experimental model systems) that improve rheumatology clinical practice or enhance current understanding of rheumatic disease mechanisms.
Rheumatology Reports aims to provide rapid publication of accepted papers and to give accurate scientific feed-back to all submissions by experts in the field.
The journal publishes:
- Original Articles, including: a) early presentation of novel clinical trials/observational studies at the time they are initiated; b) papers reporting methodological and technological advances that are relevant for rheumatology research
- Reviews, including a) meta-analysis; b) scientific perspectives highlighting novel directions of current rheumatology research
- Brief Reports
- Case Reports of general interest for clinical rheumatologists
