The Author proposes an interpretation of the value of the symptom in psychoanalytic treatment that enhances its meaning and that is proposed as different and alternative to the eliminatory type of logic that is often used in the therapeutic world. Through two clinical cases of a child and an adolescent the proposed reading is made explicit and concrete.
