Authors

Starting from the work with children, which inevitably leads to the concrete presence of the body, both of the patient and of the analyst, the authors ask themselves in which theoretical-clinical perspective to insert this dimension, passing through the criticism of an idea of object or subject body and of therapy understood as "mentalization" of the body, and hypothesizing the need to consider the process of "body-mind-context". All this has concrete implications not only in the way of working in the analysis room, but also and above all in the training of professionals who are deeply "present in themselves".
