The text outlines the general lines of a model of psychological consultation with the adolescent which refers to the theory of the relational subject elaborated within the Italian Society of Psychoanalysis of Relationship. Once the main points of the theoretical thinking on the adolescent's age which is the background to the clinic are recalled, the approach of the consultation is declined starting from the systemic conception of the actors in the field, both for the clinical part and for the adolescent, the context, the objectives. The consultation is taken as the central moment of the adolescent psychological clinic and described in all its cognitive, decision-making, interactive and dynamic complexity. It is proposed as a diagnostic and therapeutic process that can end in itself or serve as a premise for diversified therapeutic developments co-constructed on the specific needs of that system that has the adolescent at its centre. Numerous clinical examples help to understand the technical proposals.
