Authors

The author identifies some key points of the psychoanalytic vision of the human being and applies them to the social. The attention freely fluctuating, as the ability to see what is hidden between the folds, for the particular usefulness of giving back a sense of openness in situations that appear to be without a way out. The concept of libido understood as eros, that is, as a dimension of desire that is opposed to that of need: the push that leads the human being towards openness and not towards the repetition of the relational and emotional patterns from which he would otherwise be completely conditioned. Conflict as human impossibility of reconciling all things, whose awareness makes us wiser and more delicate in helping relationships. Transference as passionate involvement, difficult to sustain, source of the risk of entrenched in roles. Finally, the author dwells on the difference between institution and community. Community derives from munus, which means both commitment and gift. The uniqueness of the person finds its place in the dimension of gift.
