This work deals with the relationship between psychoanalysis and complexity theory, an epistemological approach that has been developing in recent decades. It is argued that the necessary theoretical contribution is to be identified in the study of the logic underlying the field of investigation of psychoanalysis, thus identifying the concepts of non-linearity, autopoiesis and hologram of the analytical field that must be kept in mind in order to fully understand the real nature of the phenomena studied. Psychoanalysis will thus be able to make its contribution to the theory of complexity by proposing new developments of meaning. Psychoanalysis and complexity will thus be able to enter into a convivial relationship that will fertilise both disciplines.
